Many hockey fans are impatiently awaiting the 4 Nations Tournament.
Even if countries like the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Russia will not be at the tournament, Canada, the United States, Sweden and Finland will thrill all the spectators present.
On the other hand, ticket sales for the tournament are currently slow and the NHL is affected by this.
Looking at the prices, especially for Canada’s matches, we understand better why.
As the radio station’s Michael Leach reports 680 News of Toronto, ticket prices for the match between Canada and Sweden at the Bell Center in the pit are exorbitant.
The prices above were on the Ticketmaster website and wait until you see the price for the February 15 match between Canada and the United States.
The price for a single ticket is over $500…
And if some wealthier people want to pay the price and watch the game from the front row, you have to think about a minimum of $2,300 + taxes to go alone.
Looking at the website billets.ca, the prices are less astronomical, but they remain very high.
It should be noted that the games of February 12, 13 and 15 will be presented at the Bell Center, while the games of February 17 as well as the gold medal game (February 20) will be in Boston.
-Even though I expected it to sell like hotcakes, seeing how much a pair of tickets would cost, with a small snack and parking, it’s starting to get expensive.
At least the matchups not including Canada are relatively affordable, similar to a price to see the Montreal Canadiens, and it will still be great hockey.
Anyway, I think I’m going to watch all this from my couch on my television.
