A good lesson: prodigy Luka Vuskovic knows his punishment after losing his temper on Lawrence Visser – All football

Luka Vuskovic has so far stood out for his incredible talent and his impressive level of play at only 17 years old. This weekend he was excluded for the first time.

Luka Vuskovic is a true artist, and a diamond in the rough, we already know that. But we sometimes forget that he is also a kid, and that the enthusiasm of the Balkans also runs in his veins. Last weekend, the very young KVC Westerlo defender received his first red card in the Jupiler Pro League.

A deserved red, Vuskovic having taken very badly a yellow card brandished by Mr Visser and having behaved in a threatening and inappropriate manner towards him. The referee immediately reacted and gave the Croatian a direct red card.

An expulsion approved by the Arbitration Department and Mr Lardot this Monday during Under Review, and for which Vuskovic now knows his sanction. For his “disrespectful and threatening” behavior, he was suspended for one match by the URSBFA Disciplinary Commission.

A firm match with two suspended matches as well as a fine of 2000 euros. What’s more, the yellow card received before the direct red was his 5th of the season: Luka Vuskovic will therefore be suspended for a total of two matches in a row.

KVC Westerlo can still appeal this decision, and plead, for example, the lack of antecedents and the young age of its defender to obtain a complete reprieve. But the sanction can also be more severe on appeal.
