The first matches of the round of 16 of the Coupe de France were played this Tuesday, January 14. Only US Dives-sur-Mer Cabourg (N3) managed to beat the odds despite close matches.
There will be a representative from National 3 in the round of 16. The duel between amateurs turned to the advantage of Dives-sur-Mer Cabourg who surprised Le Puy-en-Velay thanks to a goal from Suzanne after returning from the locker room.
Nice trembled on the Bastia pitch, who missed a penalty at the end of the first period by Boutrah, but passed thanks to a goal from Cho during the second act.
The other four matches were played on penalties with the qualifiers of Guingamp, Reims, Lille and Le Mans facing respectively Sochaux, Monaco, Marseille and Valenciennes.
