Former Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp makes a request to Mohamed Salah amid rumors of the Egyptian’s departure.
Salah is in one of the best forms of his entire career. Despite being 32 years old, the Liverpool winger has scored 18 goals this season in 19 Premier League appearances. However, his stay could be cut short at Anfield in June 2025, with an extension to his contract currently an issue.
Having been the coach who signed Salah from AS Roma in 2017, Klopp is best placed to comment on the player’s current situation at Liverpool. Questioned on the subject this Tuesday, the German coach asked the Egyptian superstar to stay on Merseyside.
-“I hope he stays. He’s Liverpool’s best striker of modern times – and they’ve had plenty of great ones. A fantastic player, a fantastic professional. Absolutely exceptional. The best ambassador Egypt could have. »
