La Liga: Kike Salas arrested for rigged sports betting

According to the daily El Confidencial, a court in Moron de la Frontera, in the province of Seville, opened an investigation against the 22-year-old player, accused of having deliberately caused yellow cards to gain money to his loved ones during several Spanish championship matches. Two other people are also targeted.

Coming from the Sevilla FC training center, Salas, according to elements of the investigation revealed by several media, received ten yellow cards last season, including seven in the last nine days, while the Andalusian club was guaranteed to maintain its position in La Liga.
