Not everyone is a genius crook. According to The Parisiana former employee of the National League is said to have embezzled 82,000 euros directly into his account through a rather simple manipulation: he replaced the RIB of a League supplier with his own. We have known better.

To understand, we have to go back to the fall of 2023. An LNR service provider in charge of the sound system during sporting or festive events appeals to the body which governs professional rugby complains of not having been paid by the latter . But the figures are clear: the League has paid the requested amount. But instead of landing at the said company in , the sum will go directly into an account in Rueil-Malmaison. That of the accountant.

The suspect confessed

The man, in his forties, was recruited in June 2023 before being dismissed a month later. He also runs a company specializing in IT, which, one imagines, could have helped him in his scam. Summoned to the PJ premises on January 7, he was placed in police custody for less than 24 hours, confessed and then was released. He will be summoned to court within several weeks.
