Bayonne formalizes the relocation of its match against Pau to Saint-Sébastien at the end of April

The Basque club will play its second match of the season in Spain, after the one won against in October.

As president Philippe Tayeb announced in Le Figaro, Aviron Bayonnais made it official this Tuesday that its match against the Paloise section, on April 26, counting for the 22nd day of the Top 14, will be relocated to the Anoeta stadium in Saint -Sebastien. This will be the second match that the Basque club will play in the Spanish arena, after the one they largely won against Stade Rochelais (37-7) last October, during the 6th day.

This new relocation is part of “a collective and territorial program intended to unite all stakeholders in the Basque Country” which brings together Aviron Bayonnais, the Spanish Federation and that of the Basque Country. In the future, at least one meeting will be held at the Reale Arena in San Sebastián each season.
