Facing the Australian, Dominic Stricker waited until he was trailing 6-2 6-4 2-0 to finally get a break point. Even if it is never easy to face an Australian at Melbourne Park, the 94 minutes of this meeting underlined that the Bernese is no more than a shadow of the player who reached the round of 16 of the US Open 2023.
