The Karate Club of Châteaudun (KCC) has a tenth black belt and a first among women.
It was given to Emmanuelle Mayade on Thursday evening at the dojo, in the presence of federal instructors Jean Salvodi, Denis Leclercq and Daniel Phang.
Emmanuelle Mayade obtained her black belt 1 is dan on December 14 at the departmental dojo of Saint-Georges-sur-Eure, after following the traditional route. She successfully validated the six value units necessary for this grade, demonstrating, among other things, her technical mastery and her understanding of katas.
Go as far as possible
In his speech, the president, Denis Leclercq, one of the club’s instructors, highlighted Emmanuelle’s impressive career. “She arrived at the club four years ago with her green belt. Today, she touches her first Holy Grail by obtaining the black belt. She hopes to go as far as possible in the ranks and we are convinced that she has all the potential to achieve this. »
The KCC can be delighted to now have ten black belts among its thirty-one licensees, an impressive ratio which testifies to the quality of the teaching provided at the club.
Denis Leclercq also added: “The black belt club at KCC is not a closed circle. Emmanuelle proudly joins this group as the only female black belt in the club currently. »
Practical. Training for adults takes place at the dojo located at 8, rue Pasteur, in Châteaudun, on Mondays and Thursdays, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
