Huge concern: three clubs want Anderlecht target

At Anderlecht, even before the arrival of Olivier Renard as sporting director, the January transfer window was the ideal time to recruit a new defender.

For several days, there has even been a name circulating insistently, that of the Brazilian Adryelson. With Olympique Lyonnais having to sell due to its financial situation, there is therefore a good deal to be had. A loan with a purchase option of 5 million euros is mentioned.

From the competition

The problem is that Sporting is not the only candidate in the running. Turkish media announce that Trabzonspor is also following the player on loan. This would be the case for CSKA Moscow in Russia and the Red Diamonds in Japan. The Turkish club, however, would be the one in the best position to afford Adryelson’s services.

The fact that the player wants to succeed in Europe is an important argument, which could give an advantage to Anderlecht, who is back on the European scene and who is once again aiming for one of the competitions organized by UEFA next season.

Sporting and financial aspect

If financially Turkey seems the most suitable destination, the sporting aspect will obviously also have to be taken into account. And whether it is Adryelson or another player, Anderlecht hopes to be able to welcome a new defender as quickly as possible.

David Hubert has few options available, particularly due to injuries. The name of former Unionist Siebe Van der Heyden also comes up often. Negotiations with Mallorca are said to be ongoing and the transaction could be finalized quickly.

As a reminder, Anderlecht has currently got its hands on César Huerta, an offensive player who arrived from Mexico and who signed a contract with the Mauves until 2029.
