“You haven’t lost a Grand Slam match on hard court since the 2023 US Open final. Do you have a feeling of invincibility on this surface?
Actually, I didn’t think about it. But yeah, it’s been a while. I don’t think about that kind of thing. I’m focusing on myself, trying to improve every day and I really hope I can continue doing what I’m doing in Grand Slam tournaments. Every year it’s something different, a different experience. The way you feel is different. I remember last year I wasn’t thinking about defending my title at all. I took things step by step. I think that was the key. This year I will do the same. I will try to move forward step by step and do my best. I hope to be able to hold up this magnificent trophy once again.
