Treviso, like Parma, plays in the United Rugby Championship (URC), a competition which brings together Welsh, Irish, Italian, Scottish and South African provinces. “The operation went perfectly and the player will be able to begin his rehabilitation”added Benetton Treviso, without giving a duration for its unavailability.
According to the TV channel Sky SportLynagh, son of Australian 1991 world champion Michael Lynagh, will be absent for at least three months. “I’ll be back even better”wrote Lynagh on her X account.
Aged 24, the winger, whose mother is Italian, has worn the Nazionale jersey since the 2024 Six Nations Tournament. He was capped five times by Argentine Italy coach Gonzalo Quesada and joined this season at Benetton Treviso after five seasons with the English club Harlequins.
