This Wednesday, the Racingmen spoke about the recent separation between Camille Chat and Racing 92. In front of the press, Henry Chavancy, for example, did not hide his strong emotion…
We told you Monday morning that Racing 92 and Camille Chat, at the club for twelve years and under contract until 2027, had decided to part ways by mutual agreement and with immediate effect. The facts? They now suggest that the international hooker (29 years old and 33 caps) arrived at training on December 16 after having participated in a festive evening and in a state supposedly unfit for playing rugby. He fiercely defends it. The club, for its part, judged that it was one prank too many, “Camtar” (the “truck”, his nickname in Racing) having already been lectured by its leaders in 2023 for another extra-sporting story.
Between Camille Chat and Racing 92, the love story lasted twelve years. It ends today in a way that is as sudden as it is brutal, leaving both of us with an immense feeling of waste…https://t.co/rIb2EPJoHw

At Paris-La Défense-Arena, some Racingmen spoke to the press today about their hooker. The child of the club, Henry Chavancy, said for example: “Camille is and golden guy et an exceptional teammate. I saw it happen in 2015 as a team A. We grew up together and created a sincere friendship et which will last a long time. I am sad that he is no longer with us but there you go, things have happened and the institution must remain the strongest. C“It’s a sad event but we’re all passing through.”
Diallo: “A difficult moment for the group”
Speaking to one of the faces of Racing 92, manager Stuart Lancaster said: “It’s a shame but I understand the club’s position. I’ve had this type of moment before in my career. In this kind of story, there is no winner: the club is losing and so is Camille. I am nevertheless certain that Camille will quickly find a new club and that he will be able to relaunch his career. Our medical joker, the Australian Feleti Kaitu’u, will stay with us until the end of the season at least.” Facing the media, third row Ibrahim Diallo concluded as follows: “It was a complicated moment for the group. But if we talk about it for days and days, we’ll never get through it. We have SO tried to evacuate him as quickly as possible. It was a tough moment but that’s life. I have recently sent a message to Camille, he replied. I wish him the best for the future and I will be obviously very happy to meet him again on the field.”
