Raja Casablanca snatched a valuable victory (1-0) against Mamelodi Sundowns, leaders of the Betway Premiership, during the return phase of the CAF Champions League.
The greens put in a performance this Saturday, January 4, defeating the South Africans with a score of 1-0. The saving goal for the Greens was scored by Benaissa Benamar in the final moments of the first half (45’+2).
The meeting, played in an electric atmosphere, experienced many twists and turns. Mamelodi Sundowns finished the game with 9 players after the expulsions of Bathusi Aubaas (40′) and Khuliso Mudau (90’+5). For its part, Raja was also reduced to 10 following Marouane Zila’s red card in the 80th minute.
