After several years of triumph, the show Tickling or the Dance of Anger, dealing with the very serious subject of sexual abuse of children, is on display at La Pépinière Théâtre from February 1, 2025 to April 27, 2025. Andrea Bescond gets back on the boards in his alone on stage.
Tickling or the Dance of Angeris the first show of‘Andréa Bescond. The success of the play led the author to perform her show in the four corners of France and in several venues in Paris such as the La Bruyère theater, the Petit Montparnasse, and the Antoine theater. Actress and dancer in her own show, Andrea Bescond has received several awards for her performance: the “Young theater talent” award from the SACDthe prize for the female interpretation of Festival d’Avignonthe Molière 2016 of Seule en scène and she was winner of the Young Theater Prize of theFrench Academy in 2016. In November 2018, the show was even adapted into a film by Eric Métayer et Andréa Bescond, who plays the role of Odette.
Staged by Eric Métayer, Tickling or the Dance of Anger, tells us the story of a young dancer, Odette, who experienced sexual abuse from her family from the age of 8. The show shows us Odette’s fight to rebuild herself. Tickling or the Dance of Anger is to be discovered at The Theater Nursery from February 1, 2025 to April 27, 2025.
