Controversies surrounding the show

Despite its dazzling success, Beast Games is not free from criticism. Allegations of mistreatment and unfair working conditions were made by some participants, even leading to legal proceedings against MrBeast and Amazon Prime Video.

The plaintiffs denounce difficult working conditions, a lack of breaks and insufficient medical assistance, some even having been hospitalized due to the physical demands of filming.

The show also sparked debate due to its partnership with MoneyLiona fintech company offering cash advances similar to payday loans. Consumer advocates are concerned about the potential impact on young viewers, fearing that these services could encourage them to take on debt on unfavorable terms.
