The future of Hakim Ziyech, the Moroccan international playing for Galatasaray, is more uncertain than ever. Rumors announce a probable departure of the player this winter. Several clubs, particularly from the Gulf, are already in the running to secure the services of the midfielder.
Galatasaray would not oppose the departure of Ziyech and would even seek to facilitate his transfer during the next winter transfer window. It must be said that the player seems out of favor with his coach, Okan Buruk. A “great tension”, says the Turkish journalist Haluk Yurekliwould have led to the exclusion of Ziyech from the first team.

This situation has attracted the attention of several clubs, particularly in the Gulf. The Moroccan player's salary demands could, however, cool the enthusiasm of certain European teams, notably Rennes. Aged 31, Ziyech has only played five games this season for Galatasaray, providing just one assist. A very meager record for the man who joined the Turkish club from Chelsea with great ambitions.
Remember that Ziyech was initially loaned to Galatasaray by the London club, before the Istanbul club exercised the purchase option. An investment which could ultimately come to an end if the Atlas Lion were to leave Turkey in the coming weeks. His notable absence during the last gatherings of the Moroccan national team shows the difficulties encountered by the player in recent months, while he was until now one of the most important elements.
