Teddy Riner's PSG wins the Judo Champions League

It was 5:12 p.m. when Teddy Riner finally appeared on the tatami at the FDI Stadium this Saturday: it was for the final of the Champions League, with his club, PSG, against the Serbian Red Star of Belgrade. An event now contested with the popular mixed team format, a format that the Frenchman appreciates. However, Riner was not initially planned, the fault of a contract not yet renewed and finally finalized during the night of Thursday to Friday. The double Olympic champion of the 2024 Olympic Games (+ 100 kg and mixed team) therefore arrived at the last minute in Montpellier, Friday afternoon, but waited until the final before fighting. His partners largely did the job in the quarter-finals and semi-finals.
