Dylan Lambrecth is in good shape with Sprimont. The striker wants to lead the team to the title.
One fine day in January 2017, Anderlecht spent 200,000 euros on Dylan Lambrecth, a striker then active at RFC Liège. At Sporting, he did not play a single minute, the Mauves loaning him to Roeselare, Union Saint-Gilloise and Waremme, before selling him permanently to Tienen in 2018.
Since then, the boy has passed through Hamoir, Solières and Flémalle. He is currently playing at Sprimont, in D3 ACFF B. At 32, he is the series' top scorer with 13 goals.
Pleasure above all
“Every season, I want to be among the top scorers,” he explains in l’Avenir. Enough to push the team upwards. Sprimont is second, five points behind Richelle: “The club is ambitious and wants to win this title. But each competitor aspires to the same thing, I give us a 60% chance of achieving it”.
On a personal level, Lambrecth did not come with a big head despite his past at the professional level. He is even quite honest about his current situation: “I know my fitness could be better. I know I have a few extra kilos but I have the nose for scoring goals and the experience.”
Will these ingredients hit the mark this season? Besides Richelle and Sprimont, Elsaute could also have a say.
