Catherine Jolibert, however, intends to orient her direction along three axes. “We will already have to ensure the cohesion and management of the team – which has 13 permanent and nine seasonal people – so that the winter season goes well. “. The new director will also focus on “implementing the region’s tourism strategy, with elected officials and socio-professionals”. A series of meetings with them is planned from February. Finally, Catherine Jolibert must ensure the representation of the Pays des Écrins “to various services such as the PETR du Grand Briançonnais or the Addet [Agence départementale de développement économique et touristique, NDLR] in order to have a more holistic vision of tourism in the Écrins”.
