Through the NHL: Jakob Pelletier back with the Flames

Five days after being transferred to the American Hockey League, Jakob Pelletier is back with the Calgary Flames.

The Quebec forward was recalled from the Calgary Wranglers on Monday, along with teammate Walker Duehr.

In five games this season with the Flames, Pelletier has one goal and one assist.

Dan Vladar and Andrei Kuzmenko were also back in training on Monday.

Vladar, 27, did not play in Saturday’s 3-0 win over the Florida Panthers because of a lower-body injury. The team urgently recalled Devin Cooley to support Dustin Wolf as a reserve.

The Czech goaltender has a 6-6-4 record with an .885 save percentage and a 3.08 goals-against average in 16 starts.

In his first full season with the Flames, Kuzmenko also missed the final game with a lower body injury. He was previously left out of two games earlier this month. He has one goal and nine assists in 28 games.

Their cases are re-evaluated on a daily basis.
