Moroccan champions Yassine Mahsoun and Hamza Rachid were able to snatch the title belts of the African WMC Muay Thai Championship during the international sports evening organized on Saturday evening December 14, 2024 at the private boxing gym in Casablanca, where Yassine Mahsoun was able to settle the first title in his favor after knocking out his opponent, the Senegalese champion Madou Ba in the second round in the under-weight category. 67kg. Hamza Rachid also managed to capture the second title belt of the evening in the under 69.500 kg division against Congolese champion Alik Kanafi after having surpassed him in the five rounds between them.

This very successful international sporting event, organized by the Casablanca Settat Region League and Boxing Event, under the supervision of the Royal Moroccan Federation of Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Savat and Similar sports, also featured twelve other fights between national champions and their French and Belgian counterparts, as well as the presence of the WMC representative, the German international referee Jens Welk and other high-ranking personalities.
