Back at Pérenno on Saturday evening, the Vannetais got off to a flying start. Clémendot opened the scoring in the 7th minute (1-0), followed by a goal from Le Bolloch in the 23rd minute (2-0). Upon returning from the locker room, the match took an unexpected turn: the exclusion of Kerviche (68′) left the VOC with ten men, and Poirier reduced the gap with a free kick (2-1, 71′).
Eight minutes later, Aumond equalized for Vire (2-2, 78′), before Mendy, who came on, gave the visitors the advantage in the 89′ (2-3). But in a final Vannes offensive, Fablet, well served by a cross from Morhan, offered the equalizer in the final moments (90′, 3-3).
