Maxime Martin’s new destination didn’t take long. Just a few days after his departure from BMW M Motorsport, the Belgian is formalized at Mercedes-AMG from 2025.
Since the announcement of his departure from BMW, the craziest rumors have been circulating. Many sent the Belgian to Aston Martin or Genesis. Ultimately, it is Mercedes-AMG which will run #PushPapy in GT3.
The officialization of Maxime Martin’s arrival at Mercedes-AMG was confirmed during the traditional end-of-season evening organized by the German brand. Max is therefore taking the opposite path to his teammate Raffaele Marciello who joined BMW a year ago.
The first two programs announced are the WEC in a Mercedes-AMG GT3 entered by Iron Lynx and the 24 Hours of Daytona at Bartone Bros. by GetSpeed in GTD Pro with Anthony Bartone, Fabian Schiller and Luca Stolz.
Jayden Ojeda also joins the camp of official Mercedes-AMG drivers for 2025. Ten drivers make up the 2025 squad to date: Jules Gounon, Maxime Martin, Maximilian Götz, Jayden Ojeda, Luca Stolz, Maro Engel, Fabian Schiller, Philip Ellis , Ralf Aron and Mikaël Grenier. So without Dani Juncadella.
