France and Germany have obtained the organization of the 2032 men’s handball Euro, the European Handball Federation (EHF) announced this Saturday, December 14, 2024.

“The challenge for FFHandball, after the extraordinary Olympic Games (the girls came second and the men were eliminated in the quarters, Editor’s note) which left their mark, is to re-establish international events in order to once again shine the spotlight on our athletes,” Philippe Bana, president of the French Handball Federation, said in a press release.

January 15 to 1^is February 2032

The competition will take place from January 15 to 1^is February in four German cinemas and two French cinemas. The EHF specifies that the final selection of sites has not yet been made but that the application notably includes the Paris La Défense Arena, in Nanterre (Hauts-de-Seine).

The first round and the main round will take place in both countries while the semi-finals and the final will be organized in Germany.

France and Germany will already jointly organize the 2029 Men’s World Cup.
