Just before the Montpellier – Ospreys kick-off, the MHR announced the extension of the contract of its second line or third line Yacouba Camara until 2028.
This Saturday at the GGL Stadium in Montpellier, just before the kick-off of the Challenge Cup match between Montpellier and the Ospreys, the Montpellier club announced the extension of its emblematic player, the second or third row Yacouba Camara until 2028. The announcement was made by the player himself, after a short teaser from the speaker of the meeting and a video clip specially created for the occasion which showed some of the player’s finest actions. Camara then took the microphone to say a few words to the spectators present: “I am very proud to extend my adventure with Montpellier, thank you for all the love you give us and go Montpellier! »
An announcement which was automatically followed by a round of applause, despite the stands being sparsely provided for this Challenge Cup match. Aged 30, Camara arrived from Stade Toulouse in 2017 and has since established himself as one of the leaders of the Montpellier locker room and was one of the great architects of the French champion title in 2022.
