The swimmer from Wimereux started his crazy journey on January 22, on the African continent, in Lake Tislit in Morocco, and at an altitude of 2,119 m (water at 4.5 degrees). On August 10, he continued with Australia (Oceania), in Crackenback Lake, in the middle of the mountains south of Sydney (water at 3.2 degrees). At the beginning of October, he flew to Chile and the extreme spot of Portillo, a high altitude lake (2,870 m, water at 3.5°), and for four 400 meter loops. At the end of October, the “Seal” swam his 4th Ice Mile in Svalbard, in Longyearbyen, above the Arctic Circle, in water at 3.2 degrees.
