Things will change at Man City in January: “6 transfers in progress”

Manchester City are unrecognizable this season. The Cityzens, who have one victory in their last ten matches, will try to get out of this crisis in January.

Pep Guardiola no longer appears to be able to find solutions with the current core and is not helped by the fact that his squad is plagued by numerous injuries this season.

Man City plans to sign 6 new players

This is why Man City reportedly intends to hit the transfer market hard in January. According to The Times, the English club would consider recruiting no less than six new players.

The top priority is to strengthen the midfield. Rodri’s absence weighs too heavily, while players like Gundogan, Bernardo Silva and Kevin De Bruyne are no longer young and are expected to leave in the near future.

To replace KDB, City would have placed Florian Wirtz (Bayer Leverkusen) at the top of their wish list. Furthermore, the Cityzens are also considering recruiting a more defensive profile like Martin Zubimendi (Real Sociedad), Ederson (Atalanta), Bruno Guimaraes (Newcastle) or Adam Wharton (Crystal Palace).

Reinforcements provided for all lines

City would also like to strengthen their defensive sector with the arrival of a new central defender and a new right-back. Jarrad Brantwaite (Everton) and Marc Guehi (Crystal Palace) are notably cited.

Finally, Guardiola would also like the arrival of a new striker. It must be said that Erling Haaland is the club’s only true number 9.
