Cercle Brugge swapped Miron Muslic for Ferdinand Feldhofer last week, but changes are also imminent in the Jan Breydel boardroom. To fill one of the main vacancies, Cercle is currently shopping with Anderlecht.
Het Laatste Nieuws reports that Klaas Reynaert will soon be proposed as the new CEO of the Cercle de Bruges. This position still belongs to Alexander Vantyghem who is leaving.
Anderlecht loses its architect
Looking for a successor, Bruges supporters therefore chose Reynaert, who has held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Lotto Park since July 2021. He did a good job there: the Mauve et Blanc, for example, closed the last financial year with a slight profit.
After years of hardship, the people of Brussels do not want to see the 31-year-old man, considered one of the architects of Neerpede’s financial recovery, leave, according to the newspaper.
Vantyghem s’en va, Reynaert arrives
Furthermore, Reynaert was already financial director of Neerpede. For the moment, we do not know exactly when he will return to his old nest. HLN believes it is likely that Vantyghem will continue in his role at least until the end of the winter break.
