During the prestigious “PIF Saudi International powered by SoftBank Investment Advisers”, the young Moroccan golfer Adam Bresnu distinguished himself by obtaining a 6th place, marking an unprecedented milestone in the development of Moroccan and Arab Golf.
Adam Bresnu, a young 20-year-old Moroccan prodigy, wrote a new page of history during the PIF Saudi International, which was held from December 4 to 7, 2024 at the Riyadh Golf Club. With a remarkable score of -17 (66, 68, 67, 66), he achieved a 6th place, achieving the best performance ever recorded by a Moroccan golfer in the major circuits of world golf.
The tournament was won by Joaquin Niemann, who triumphed in a spectacular play-off against Cameron Smith, winner of the 150th Open Championship, and Caleb Suratt, concluding a high-level clash between world-class players. This tournament, considered the most important of the International Series and the Asian Tour, brings together each year the strongest field of the year, including the best players on the Asian circuit and the emblematic figures of the LIV Golf League.
Despite having amateur status, Adam was able to hold his own against this fierce competition, outclassing many established players and proving that he is a match for the world’s elite.
