After an injury which kept him away from the field, Chadi Riad marks his return to the field and will be lined up against the Crystal Palace U21s during their Premier League International Cup clash against RSC Anderlecht.
The Morocco international joined the Eagles in the summer from Real Betis and was unfortunately injured in the EFL Cup second round clash against Norwich City. He has since been on the road to recovery and will return to full fitness and play for the first time against Anderlecht U21s this evening.
“Chadi Riad will play with our U21s on Tuesday. He will play his first 45 minutes after three months, but he is doing really well”said his coach, Oliver Glasner, during his press conference before Manchester City.
As a reminder, Chadi Riad was unable to join the Moroccan national team during the last matches against Gabon and Lesotho due to his injury. He joined the English club this summer, with a contract running until June 30, 2029, from the Spanish Real Betis, where he distinguished himself last season.
