While AS Saint-Étienne faces numerous physical problems, several players could in turn miss a match with the Greens since four of the squad are under threat of suspension.

Against , Olivier Dall'Oglio did not have his full squad, far from it. For the OM reception, the Saint-Etienne coach deplored the absences of Yvann Maçon, Mickaël Nadé, Aïmen Moueffek, Mathieu Cafaro, Augustine Boakye, Ben Old, Ibrahima Wadji, Anthony Briançon and Thomas Monconduit.

If Mathieu Cafaro was serving his first of the two suspension matches he received after his hand in the area in and his expulsion, Augustine Boakye who was suspended against Marseille for an accumulation of yellow cards, is again available for the trip to …if the Ghanaian has recovered from his injury. Yvann Maçon, Mickaël Nadé, Aïmen Moueffek, Ben Old, Ibrahima Wadji, Anthony Briançon and Thomas Monconduit were all injured or not yet sufficiently recovered to apply for a place in the group against OM.

Other AS Saint-Étienne players could be missing in the coming weeks. There are in fact four of Olivier Dall'Oglio's squad to be under threat of suspension. Besides Mickaël Nadé currently on the side, Gautier Larsonneur, Mathis Amougou et Leo Petrot will be suspended in the event of a third yellow card received in a period comprising less than ten matches.
