The Oued Ykem equestrian club won, on Sunday, the title of the 10th edition of the Throne Cup of show jumping, organized by the Royal Moroccan Federation of Equestrian Sports (FRMSE) under the high patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, at the Royal Complex of equestrian sports and tbourida Dar Es Salam in Rabat.
Made up of Soukaina Ouaddar, Alia Benbrahim, Farid Amanzar and Florent Jeannin, the Oued Ykem equestrian club won the title of this prestigious competition after achieving a flawless performance at the end of the play-off match. Second place went to the Club Etrier de Casablanca (A) team, made up of Abdeslam Bennani Smires, Majid Djaidi, Ghali Chaoui and Ghali Boukaa, with a total of four penalty points.
The team from the Royal Club Equestre Dar Es Salam of Rabat (A), composed of Mohammed Azoum, Fouad Larhissi, Sami Cherkaoui and Jad Guerraoui, finished in third place with also a total of four penalty points.
At the end of this sporting competition, the president of the Royal Moroccan Federation of Equestrian Sports, Moulay Abdellah Alaoui, presented the 2024 Throne Cup trophy to the Oued Ykem equestrian club team. As a reminder, the 9th edition of the Trone Cup show jumping was won by the Royal Club equestre du Strait-Tangier.
