A former Man United striker announces Pogba’s return to the club.
Paul Pogba could make a sensational return to Manchester United. Yes, it’s true, according to a former striker Red Devils. Pogba’s contract with Juventus was terminated following a doping scandal. But now that his sanction has been reduced to 18 months instead of four years, he might start training with a team soon.
A year after his transfer to Juventus, Pogba was hit with a four-year doping ban. This sanction was imposed after a drug test revealed increased levels of testosterone in his body. The star was given a lifeline in October when the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) reduced the sanction from four years to 18 months following an appeal.
Today a former United star revealed he could train with the Red Devils upon his return to action. Louis Sahaa former striker who played 142 times for the club, indicated that could be the case. The English press, notably the Daily Mailtook hold of this story.
“I have heard rumors that Paul Pogba will be offered the opportunity to return to train with Man United in the new year,” Saha said. “I think it would be a great opportunity for Paul.”
“He needs to get back to his best as quickly as possible, and training with top players will help him do that. I think he would be delighted to have the opportunity to return to the club.”
Paul Pogba has already signed to Manchester United for a world record fee in 2016. He failed to live up to high expectations in England. The Frenchman was not helped by disagreements with various coaches during his stay. If he returns, it will be his third spell at the club.
