The party definitely promises to be great next summer at the Stade de Genève, the Stade de Tourbillon in Sion or the Kybunpark in St. Gallen. The Women’s Euro 2025, which will take place in Switzerland from July 2 to 27, 2025, will indeed receive 15 million francs from the Confederation. The National Council confirmed this Monday evening, accepting a motion to this effect by 116 votes, 43 against and 19 abstentions. The text was approved in March by the Council of States. With today’s vote, elected officials have definitively twisted the arm of the Federal Council, which only wanted to grant 4 million to the largest women’s sporting event on the European continent.
