This Saturday, December 7, 2024, the
Girondins de Bordeaux played the 12th day of the championship of National 2 at home against the club Briochin Stadium. The meeting was played at
Stade Matmut Atlantique – René Gallice.
The players of Bruno Irles could not do better than a goalless draw (0-0).
TOPS
Adrien Louveau: The midfielder had a new partner at his side in the person of Thomas Trazié. From the start of the match he will highlight himself, pressing high on the opponent and preventing him from restarting. He is also the first booster for offensive players like Merdji, Carroll, Diallo and Bahassa. On the defensive level he is also very valuable and the Breton midfielders have difficulty in transitions. It's been several matches since we've seen him so enterprising. A large volume of play which unfortunately did not pay off collectively.
Lassana Diabaté: In a meeting where it is difficult to bring out several tops, Lassana Diabaté once again made the necessary save. He made a nice tap at the start of the second half, which otherwise would have made the match even more complicated. Apart from that, not much to eat but he did the main thing with a new clean sheet.
Soufiane Bahassa : The Bordeaux winger was the most active on the attacking front, even if he did not perform as well as in recent weeks. In the first half, he tried, insisted and pushed, even if it didn't pay off. He also had a magnificent opportunity after a sublime control, but his shot was off target. Then it was a little more complicated in the second act. But if we have to compare with Diallo on the left, then he was well above in contribution and precision.
-The Flops
Amadou Diallo : Once again, and this is not to pick on him, but he is one of the flops of the meeting. It's always for the same reasons. We feel that he wants to do well, and he doesn't skimp on his efforts, but that's not enough. There is far too much technical waste to hope to be decisive. Loss of balls, bad choices: in fact, as soon as he enters the last 25 meters, he lacks the accuracy which makes the difference. Even on a free kick he does not make this difference. In the second half he tried to apply himself and it was slightly better in his crosses. But it's really too little to worry the opponent. His complete match raises questions. Bruno Irles may well remind us that Bordeaux's best opportunity is on one of his crosses, yes, perhaps, but this is perhaps the only time where we can take away the responsibility for not being decisive.
Bruno Irles: The Bordeaux coach may have had his least glorious evening since the start of the season, taking into account that he has his entire squad (apart from Assogba) at his disposal. He had choices to make and the least we can say is that they were surprising. Firstly, the tenure of Jean Grillot in the right lane. Djibril Diaw took the place of the young center, who had been impeccable until then. Exit Nathanaël Baï who was doing the job and who gets along well in his hallway with Bahassa. A choice which did not pay off since Grillot had a little difficulty, being surprised by Zakharyan on several occasions. Ahead also, the choice of Diallo gives food for thought, especially as he has a string of average performances, while Mutyaba remained on a much better copy. The winger played the entire match. A first little hitch but that doesn't change the fact that since the start of the season, his choices and his speech have been popular.
