During an interview on the Sky Sports Premier League YouTube channel, Nicolas Jackson, the Senegalese striker of Chelsea, was asked to choose his favorite African player from three great football legends: Sadio Mané, Didier Drogba and Yaya Touré.
The ex-Villarreal player did not take long to decide, and his ranking quickly surfaced.
For him, Mané occupies first place. “Number one is Sadio Mané, obviously”he declared. “Behind, I put Drogba, and Yaya Touré comes third”he added, explaining his choice with enthusiasm.
According to Jackson, Mané is the best African footballer of his generation. “What makes him an exceptional player? His hard work. He has everything: he’s fast, electric, a great teammate. He is different from the others »said the Blues striker.
Nicolas Jackson also took the time to greet his two other predecessors. “Yaya Touré is an incredible player, and Drogba is an absolute legend”he said, before sharing his dream of becoming a Chelsea legend himself. “I hope that one day I will live up to Didier Drogba by winning the Premier League or the Champions League. It would be a dream. If you’re like him, you’re a great legend.”confided Jackson.
