Dani Olmo’s release clause expires soon, FC Barcelona urged to hurry up

FC Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing Dani Olmo, who trained with the Blaugrana. But the Catalans will have to hurry. His release clause expires in a few days.

Attention fans! Only a few days left to activate Dani Olmo’s release clause. The latter has been set at €60M. Initially, the deadline had been set for July 15.

Finally, the expiration of the clause was pushed back by several days, due to Spain’s progress at Euro 2024. It would have been postponed to five days later, to July 20. FC Barcelona therefore only have nine days left to allow them to exercise this clause. Trained at La Masia, Dani Olmo would be of great interest to the Catalan leaders.

While waiting to decide on his future, the Iberian player will play in the Euro 2024 final with Spain. Initially used as a wild card, the Spanish midfielder has regained a starting place in the Roja squad after Pedri’s injury.

Dani Olmo is riding an impressive form. The Spanish international has scored in his national team’s last three games, against Georgia (4-1), Germany (2-1) and France (2-1). One thing is for sure, he will be one to watch very closely on Sunday during the final.
