Despite its motivation, the men’s team of the Tennis-Club marsannais returned from L’Isle-Jourdain with a defeat (4 to 1) in the final of the spring cup. No double after its victory in the winter cup, but satisfaction after its good performance against a team from Lisle. In the singles, only Raphaël Castex will manage to win against Sébastien Venon 6-3,6-3. Emmanuel Trébosc will not manage to find the solution to beat Julien Rabiller. Finally, Romain Duffour, although winner of the 1st set, will lose the other 2 sets in a special match since he faced the Marsannais Tiago Hattry. The doubles, once again decisive, will give rise to a very contested and good level match. Bastien Tournier and Raphaël Castex will win the first set in the tee-break but will lose the second 6-4 after leading 3-0. The super tee-break (10-5) will allow Lislois Clément Regnier and Vincent Louvet to win the match and the title.

The annual tournament counting for the masters continues with a good turnout. The finals will take place on Sunday, July 14. A “coustous” evening is planned for Saturday, July 13, starting at 7 p.m. Registration at 06.82.43.95.70, 06.16.29.28.74 or 06.08.46.67.79.
