It’s party time at ASSE. After securing promotion after their play-off match against FC Metz, the Greens saw their takeover by Kilmer Sports become official. President of the Saint-Etienne club since 2004, Roland Romeyer left his position last June. Discreet since the end of his term, the 78-year-old commented on the news of the Geoffroy-Guichard residents and was optimistic.

This is a new chapter in the history of ASSE which is about to be written. This group has the financial and sporting capacity to continue and expand the development of the club. It is a page that is turning for me, having fallen into the Chaudron in 1957… and another that is being written in history. »

“I am keeping the presidency of ASSE Couleur Vert”

Roland Romeyer also specifies that he will continue to take care of ASSE Green Heartan association that fights for the protection of the environment: “ Life goes on for the Greens, for the club, for its supporters and for all those who have green blood flowing through their veins. I am keeping the presidency of ASSE Cœur Vert that I created in 2011 and which corresponds better to my values ​​than those of today’s football. »
