What format for the Club World Cup draw?
The competition will begin with a group stage consisting of eight groups of four teams. Each team plays the other teams in its group once. The teams finishing in the first two places in each group qualify for the round of 16. The round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals and a final are then played, with a single knockout match in each round. There are no third place matches.
