Another chance for Anderlecht? “We have to see what PSV thinks”

Anderlecht were linked with numerous players last summer. Sometimes this information was accurate, other times it was not. According to the Dutch press, the Brussels club would have liked to attract a young talent from PSV.

Babadi plays little at PSV

Like many other teams, Anderlecht tried to sign Issac Babadi last summer. But ultimately, the latter decided to extend his contract until June 2028 with his training club. A choice that the young attacking midfielder must perhaps regret today. In fact, he has hardly played since the start of the season (68 minutes with the first team).

Going on loan?

In an interview with Voetbal International, Babadi opened the door to a loan move: “I think it could be a good plan, but I have to discuss it with the coach. My wish is to play football, but for It’s not easy at the moment here. Probably going out on loan could do me good. We’ll see what happens in January.”

It remains to be seen whether Anderlecht will be interested in the idea of obtaining the loan of a player lacking confidence and playing time.
