For a year, anonymous incendiary letters multiplied from the ex-husband, his parents and the entire family, creating an unhealthy and unbearable climate of suspicion. Finally, the investigation led to the interception of the crow, a lady from the town of Léglise who maintained a letter-writing relationship with the father. The lady fell in love with the gentleman, who in a relationship with another lady, rejected her, considering her platonically as a simple friend. The lover’s disappointment transformed into incredible wickedness. After denying it, she had to at least confess when faced with the evidence.
