2025 will be a very important year for the Red Devils. In March, Belgium will have to secure its place in Division A of the Nations League during a double confrontation against Ukraine, then qualifying for the 2026 World Cup will begin.
Zakaria El Ouahdi
Domenico Tedesco, if he is still in place, will perhaps be able to count on Zakaria El Ouadhi during the next upcoming games. Indeed, the Belgian-Moroccan right-back from Genk opened the door to a future with the Red Devils.
“It’s good that people are talking about me. I have both nationalities, so it’s just a question of knowing what I want,” he told DAZN. “I played in an African Cup and participated in the Olympic Games with Morocco. Joining Belgium after all that is not an easy choice. But hearing that I could appear in the Belgian selection is something very beautiful too.”
He hasn’t made his choice yet
For the moment, the Genkois has not yet made his decision: “What will I do if I am selected with Belgium? It would become a dilemma. I say it honestly. For the moment, I do not don’t focus on that because the next selection is only in March. But I’m absolutely not closing the door to Belgium.”
