Stop or still for Domenico Tedesco? We will still have to wait before the fateful decision! – All football

This Thursday, a meeting took place at the Belgian Union concerning Domenico Tedesco. It was the first of two meetings of the Board of Directors supposed, in particular, to find a solution regarding the coach.

Domenico Tedesco will he still be the coach of the Red Devils next March, during the play-off for remaining in the Nations League A against Ukraine? If firing the coach cost nothing, we can be pretty sure he would have packed his bags by now.

The core of the Devils no longer seems to really support the German-Italian, and the Belgian Union would also like to find a solution. With this in mind, a first meeting took place this Thursday at the Board of Directors, in order to discuss the situation, as we explained to you this week (read here).

Unsurprisingly, according to Sacha Tavolieri who is following this matter closely, no decision was taken this Thursday after this first meeting. A second meeting is planned for early December, next week; it will be centered on Vincent Mannaert’s vision for the future.

Difficult, however, to develop this vision without making a decision concerning the national coach. Can we expect a layoff from Tedesco at the beginning of December? On the side of the Belgian Union, we in any case want to take the time to decide on the course of action and find a possible solution (especially financial).

On December 13, the qualifying draw for the 2026 World Cup will take place. Domenico Tedesco will then be invited to speak in front of the cameras about the Red Devils group; if he is still in office, we imagine that he will still have a lot of questions about his situation. But the URBSFA could have settled its case by then…
