Thanks to its childcare items filled with French sheep’s wool and made in France, under the Loulenn brand, it is one of the 15 finalists.

Already known for the creation of 100% French sheep’s wool duvets, launched in November 2020, in order to offer a natural and local alternative to synthetic products, Euriel Morvézen has this time developed articles for toddlers. “For 4 years, I lived in Australia, the leading wool producing country in the world. I fell in love with their wool duvets which sell very easily there,” says Euriel. While looking to replace her tired blanket, she found herself faced with a shortage. No matter, she decided to found her own brand Loulenn. “From the start, I wanted to start creating items for babies using sheep’s wool, but I started by making duvets because it was easier to target adults,” she admits.

The Public’s Favorite Prize

Four years after creating quilts, Louleen now offers an offer for children. The brand has developed mattress toppers (€150), sleeping bags (€120), changing mats (€85) and bed bumpers (€135). These sheep wool items, which combine innovation and durability, are full of virtues. “They are light, insulating, anti-mite, soothing and adapt to temperature variations. All are machine washable at 30 degrees, however you should avoid tumble drying,” explains Euriel. Its collection of childcare items will be launched next spring, but it is already possible to pre-order them on its site for made-to-order productions.

To decide between the 15 finalists for the European Circular Fashion Trophies, the public is invited to vote via an online platform, until December 3, before the big awards ceremony scheduled for December 5.
