A look back at Pierre SAMSONOFF’s visit to Astragale

Saturday November 22, 2024, Pierre SAMSONOFF, candidate for the presidency of the French Federation (FFF) with his list “Commit to all footballs”went to Astragale, headquarters of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté Football League in .

Welcomed by the three Burgo-Comtois members of his list, Daniel FONTENIAUD (Re-elected President of the League), Christophe CAILLIET (President of the Yonne District), and Aurélie CORREIA (volunteer engaged in a regional commission), Pierre SAMSONOFF was able to interact with local football players, clubs, Districts and League.

Also in the presence of members of the Board of Directors of the League, Presidents and representatives of Districts, Presidents of Clubs, this campaign visit before the FFF elections, which will be held on December 10 and 11, made it possible to address the candidate’s ambitions and the challenges for the future of French football, particularly at the amateur level.

A program focused on supporting clubs

Pierre SAMSONOFF presented the broad outlines of his project, aiming in particular to:

  • Strengthening democratic governance by directly associating clubs with federal decisions,
  • Increase support and aid to clubs via the creation of a one-stop shop and the tripling of the FAFA Emploi budget.
  • Simplify daily club management to better support volunteers and licensees.
  • Develop more inclusive and innovative footballwith a particular emphasis on futsal and new practices
