There is no question of hiding for Paris FC or using wooden language. Buoyed by a resolutely ambitious transfer window this summer, with the signings of center forward Jean-Philippe Krasso for 1.5 million euros and former Marseille midfielder Maxime Lopez, the Parisian club is logically among the favorites for promotion to Ligue 1 alongside Lorient, Metz, Guingamp and Clermont.

The season started perfectly with three victories in the first three days of Ligue 2 and the objective is to continue this flawless performance this Saturday with the reception of Messins (2:30 p.m.). To make an impression and further affirm the ambitions of a team whose budget now stands at just over 30 million euros.

Paris FC wants to play its home matches at Jean-Bouin

Internally, President Pierre Ferracci (72 years old), majority shareholder and president since 2012, is also preparing a change of era, with the certainty of leaving his position and completely exiting the capital at the end of the 2026-2027 season, as he announced in recent weeks. “The idea is for new investors to take over from me. I hope that everything will be completed before the end of the fall,” he said in the columns of L’Equipe.

Minority shareholders, including the Kingdom of Bahrain, which is displayed on the jersey, will also withdraw to make way for new arrivals. According to L’Equipe, a powerful investor whose identity is not known – but who will not be the LVMH group or a Saudi fund – should recover 85% of the shares of Paris FC. At the same time, Ferracci is pushing to set up his club in Jean-Bouin from next season and thus leave Charléty at least temporarily.

“The strategy is to land at the Jean-Bouin stadium next season,” he assured L’Equipe. “We are only just beginning discussions with Stade Français, which holds the concession.”
