In recent days, the DNCG has spoken with the various French professional football clubs, as part of the review of the clubs’ situation for the 2024-2025 sports season. Stade Malherbe was therefore naturally entitled to its meeting, and the financial policeman of French football confirmed this Wednesday, November 27 that no action has been taken with regard to the Caen club. As it was already on September 25, when the DNCG confirmed the absence of sanctions following the change of shareholders.
Good news for the SMC, which must now focus on preparing for its Coupe de France match, against Bolbec (Regional 1). As a reminder, the match was reversed this Wednesday and will therefore be played at Ornano on Saturday (1:30 p.m.). The club has not yet communicated on ticketing arrangements.
