The Confederation of African Football (CAF) took note of the complaint filed by the Guinean Football Federation (FGF) regarding the Tanzanian international’s eligibility Muhammad Ibrahim Ame who took part in the match of the 6th day of the playoffs of the African Cup of Nations (CAN).
The governing body of Guinean football published the following press release on its official website.
In an email dated Tuesday, November 26, 2024, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) informed the Guinean Football Federation (FGF) that the CAF Disciplinary Bodies Secretariat has taken note of the FGF’s complaint relating to the Tanzania – Guinea match on November 19, 2024 on the occasion of the sixth day of the TotalEnergies Maroc 2025 CAN qualifiers. CAF has specified that it will be informed of the action taken on this complaint as soon as possible.

Everything suggests that the Confederation of African Football (CAF) will announce its verdict in the coming weeks.
